Islington Council is working with its partners on a proposal to relocate Ashmount School to the site of the former Crouch Hill Recreation Centre. Our aim is to provide a sustainable new development with excellent education and leisure facilities.
After listening to local views on this issue, the council has commissioned preliminary plans for the Crouch Hill area. These include:

The council will now prepare a formal application to planning authorities. We will follow all due processes as we take the project forward.
If planning consent is granted the council will be making a big and important investment in the community and services to be provided in the area.
At Islington Council we think Crouch Hill has great potential to offer both a diverse natural environment and well maintained community facilities. The council wants as many people as possible to contribute to our exciting vision for Crouch Hill.
