What is happening in Islington?
The standards of education in Islington are improving every year every year. During the next five years £140 milllion is being invested to rebuild, remodel and refurbish eight of the borough’s ten secondary schools (the academies are not part of the BSF programme).
This is an important opportunity to provide young people with the best possible facilities and environments in which to enjoy their learning and achieve to the best of their ability. Investing in our schools means transforming both the physical environment and providing an aspirational, supportive and safe environment inside them.
