There is an online application process for all prospective applicants for posts in primary, secondary, nursery, special schools and early years/children’s centres. Successful applicants' details will be provided to schools via a database, which schools can access at any time. Some schools will also advertise independently, usually in the Times Educational Supplement, and for these posts applicants should apply directly to schools to receive job details. Copies of the NQT information pack are available online on the NQT website.
Islington offers an excellent central induction programme, alongside school-based support to provide high quality learning and development for all NQTs. There will be an open evening in February, where advice and further information from head teachers and advisers can be obtained. Details will be advertised online from December onwards.
