If you need the answer to any question or problem, the library is often the best place to start. We will be pleased to help find the information you want, whatever the subject. You can-

The largest and most comprehensive collection of information resources is at Central Library, including-

  • law, business, government, statistics, education, and the European Union
  • maps, street plans, timetables, and tourist information
  • phone books and yellow pages
  • newspapers and magazines, with large back-runs
  • local history books, maps and cards for sale
  • help for community groups to research and fund-raise
