'reading groups for everyone' is a new web-site that is spreading the word and celebrating all the great things that reading groups, writing groups and book clubs offer. It is the place to find information about groups in your area, as well as offering support resources and evidence, plus offers and events for people running or setting up a group. Children  and Teens

Lewis Carroll Children's Library

Teenage Kicks!    Are you bored on a Monday night? Join our reading group for ages 11 to 15. Chat about books, music and films, and get creative with our arts, crafts and writing workshops.  Usually meet on the first Monday of every month from 4.30 to 6.00pm. Finsbury Youth Reading Group 

This new group starts on Thursday 26 January 2012 and runs from 5.30 -7.30pm at the Finsbury Library, 245 St. John Street, London EC1V 4NB. Please contact Jimi on 020 7527 7960, or finsbury.library@islington.gov.uk

Finsbury Library

The Finsbury Library reading group takes place every 5 weeks at Finsbury Library - upcoming dates are June 28, August 2, September 13, October 18 and November 29. We meet between 6.30pm-7.30pm. We will read fiction and non-fiction, sometimes all reading the same book, and sometimes reading different books on one theme (e.g. a particular author, biography, detective writers etc). All are welcome, even if you cannot come to every meeting. You can either acquire your own copy of the selected book, or ask the library to reserve a copy (subject to availability). North library

The North Library reading group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, from 6.30pm to 7.45pm. Drop in to join and/ or take part or contact us on 020 7527 7840, or north.library@islington.gov.uk  

 

N4 Library

The N4 library reading group meets on the first Thursday of the month from 6.15pm to 7.45pm. If you wish to join, please contact the library to find out the date of the next meeting and the title of the book being read - 020 7527 7800. n4.library@islington.gov.uk

John Barnes Library

Every last Tuesday of the Month at the North Library, from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.

An in-depth look at comic and graphic fiction. Pick up something different, discuss your thoughts, give an opinion or just sit and listen.
