Adults

North library

The North Library reading group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, from 6.30pm to 7.45pm. The group is friendly and informal, so please just drop in to join and/ or take part - 020 7527 7840, north.library@islington.gov.uk

West library

West Library's reading group meets from 6.15pm to 7.45pm, normally on the last Tuesday of the month. If you wish to join, please contact the library to find out the date of the next meeting and the title of the book being read - 020 7527 7920, west.library@islington.gov.uk

John Barnes Library   

The John Barnes library reading group meets on the first Thursday of the month from 6.30 to 7.30pm, at the John Barnes Library, Camden Road. Please contact the library for details - 020 7527 7900, johnbarnes.library@islington.gov.uk

Mildmay Library

The Mildmay library reading group will be meeting on the last Saturday of each month from 10.00am to 12noon at the Mildmay Library in Mildmay Park. Please contact islingtonbookgroup@googlemail.com for more information.

Central Library

The Central Library reading group meets on the penultimate Monday of each month from 6.00pm to 7.30pm in the Gallery on the first floor. For more details contact the Central Library: 020 7527 6900, centrallending.lib@islington.gov.uk

Children

Orange Chatterbooks
Sponsored by the Orange Prize for Fiction, these reading groups work in a similar way to Chatterboox.

N4 Library
This is for children aged between seven and 14 years, and meets around every six weeks between 10:30am and 12 noon on Saturdays. Get in touch with N4 Library staff for details of the next group - 020 7527 7800, n4.library@islington.gov.uk

West Library
In addition to its adult reading groups, this library also has a children's group aimed at 7-12 year olds. It meets approximately every four weeks, at 10am on Saturdays.
