Information:
Islington Computer Skills Centre provide free first step and level one computer training. Whilst priority is given to EC1 residents of working age who are unwaged or on low income, unfilled places will be offered to other Islington residents. Classes run daytimes, evenings and Saturdays. Please call for an application form.

All classes are taught by a qualified tutor in a relaxed and friendly environment. Each student has sole use of a computer and class sizes are kept small, with a maximum of 12 students per session.

The Centre runs a Computer Club for children living in EC1 aged 16 or under who have homework to do.

  • We offer free use of our computers, including Internet access to research topics, word-processing and printing – as well as lots of books!
  • Friendly advice is on hand from Computer Club staff, ready to help with any subject from maths to music.
  • To join, you need to get an application form signed by your parent or guardian. This form gives permission from the parent/guardian for the child to have supervised access to the Internet. See the poster under downloadable documents.
