Before and After School Clubs

Before and After School Clubs

Out of School Care

Many schools in Islington provide breakfast and after school clubs. Parents can ask at their child’s school about the services provided. There is also a range of community after-school clubs and holiday clubs. Some adventure playgrounds provide care after school and during holidays.

You can download a list of adventure playgrounds, community after-school clubs and some other out-of-school activities using the links below to the Things to Do leaflets.

Breakfast Clubs

Your child's school will tell you if it has a breakfast club or other breakfast provision. Many Islington schools can provide breakfast which will typically include fruit, toast, cereal and juice. They are very low cost.

After School Clubs

Most schools provide after-school clubs or make arrangements with local community providers. After-school clubs run in term time from Monday to Friday, 3.30-6.30pm. For information about costs, please contact your child’s school or provider.

Holiday Schemes

Holiday schemes are run by community groups and council funded organisations, mainly for children aged five to 14 years. For further information and a list of holiday schemes, please use the link to Holidays on the left.
