The Family Information Service can provide a list of local playschemes to care for your children if you are working over the school holidays.

Holiday schemes are run by a wide range of community and council funded organisations, mainly for children aged five to 14 years. Some nurseries have told us that they can take extra children aged three and four years as well. There are some schemes designed for disabled children and young people and those with additional needs. Many of the schemes run during every holiday, apart from over the Christmas period.

The leaflets will be updated shortly before each holiday, including half term breaks. The previous holiday leaflet is attached at the end of this page to give you an idea of the types of schemes which typically run each holiday.
