About our services

Islington Children’s Information Service (CIS) gives free, impartial information, advice and guidance about services for children, young people and families in Islington. These include:

• childcare provision
• help with childcare costs
• working with children
• special needs
• parenting and family support
• health
• recreation and leisure
• education
  

You can contact the CIS helpline on 020 7527 5959. The helpline is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Outside those times you can leave a message and we will get back to you.

Use the links on the left to find and download all of our information. There are also links to other websites offering useful information for families.

Staff can also meet you face-to-face at Children’s Services, 159 Upper Street, London N1 1RE, between 10am and 4pm, or look out for us at the many outreach events we attend in Islington.
