Democracy in Islington

This section tells you all about forthcoming council meetings. The majority of these meetings are open to members of the public.

For area committee meetings you can turn up and talk about anything. For council meetings you have to give written notice within ten working days to ask a question about an agenda item. At all other meetings you can turn up and ask a question about anything on the agenda.

Consultation

The council carries out a wide range of diverse consultations. For example, commenting on a proposed controlled parking zone in your street, or deciding the future of important local buildings. The consultation section highlights current consultations going on in your area.

Online comments forms and/or email addresses are often attached to these consultations so you can give your opinion online.
