The Electoral Services team at the Town Hall is a dedicated team providing services on behalf of the Electoral Registration Officer and Returning Officer in Islington.
They are responsible for producing the annual register of electors - the list of all Islington residents eligible to vote (which involves a house to house canvass each autumn of all 95,000 properties in the borough) and for the subsequent monthly registration process that runs from 1 December to mid-August.
They also prepare for all local, Parliamentary and European elections held in the borough and referendums, as well as maintain the constituency, ward and polling district boundaries in the borough.
