Council Tax Bands

Council Tax Charges 2008-09

Your council tax band is based on the market value of your home in April 1991. Your home is placed in a valuation band by the Government's Inland Revenue Commission.

For further information, visit the Valuation Office Agency website by clicking on the link on the right under Useful Websites.

On 28 February, we set the council tax rates for April 2008 to March 2009. Islington residents again have one of the lowest council tax bills in the capital.
