Teams from Islington council and police are teaming up this week for a blitz on litter, dirt, dog mess and anti-social behaviour.
Not In My Neighbourhood Week is seeing joint action in the Caledonian Road and N19 areas - including Copenhagen Street, Caledonian & Barnsbury Overground Station, Elthorne Park, St John's Way, Duncombe Road and Mulkern Road.
Council teams will deep clean the area, while council Street Wardens and police Safer Neighbourhood Team patrols, and street outreach charities tackle local anti-social behaviour.
Litterers and dog owners who allow their pets to foul the pavement will also face £80 fines from Street Wardens, police and Homes for Islington officers.
Cllr Barbara Smith, Islington Council's Executive Member for Community Safety, said: "We know residents want firm action on crime and grime - they are quite rightly saying 'not in my neighbourhood'.
"These action days will see the council, police and HfI tackling everything from dirty streets to street drinking."
Islington Police Borough Commander Mike Wise said: "This is the perfect opportunity for all of us to have a positive impact on the issues which greatly affect people’s quality of life."
Not In My Neighbourhood Week runs from 2-5 November. The action days are taking place on November 2-3 and other work is continuing that week, including the council/police campaign against firework misuse.
They follow successful similar action days in Archway in January.
