Over 60 older people joined Islington's day care service team for a traditional Greek Orthodox Easter lunch celebration at Alsen Day Centre last week.
Greek Orthodox Easter falls two weeks after the Christian Easter and is celebrated by hundreds across the borough including at Alsen where a significant proportion of users are Greek.
Dressed-up diners were treated to seasonal spring lamb with all the trimmings and Greek wine while Greek music band Omega had the more energetic up in the aisles dancing to the strains of a bouzouki.
Islington Mayor, Stefan Kasprzyk said: "I was thrilled to be invited - Greek Orthodox Easter is a major celebration at Alsen.
"It's one of our busiest day care centres catering for a very diverse community so it was also a chance for service users to learn a little from each other's cultures."
Father Ephrem of the Greek Orthodox Church of St John the Baptist and St Anthony the Great gave the blessing.
