Curl up with Richard and Judy thanks to Islington Council

Date: 09-Feb-09 by Chris Roe

READERS are being offered the chance to enjoy the top books from TV's Richard and Judy's Book Club for free thanks to Islington Council's libraries.
The borough's nine adult libraries have extra copies of the couple's Best Reads Of The Year for people to borrow.
The 10 titles range from crime novel When Will There Be Good News? by Kate Atkinson to real-life detective story The Suspicions of Mr Whicher, by Kate Summerscale.
Cllr Ruth Polling, Islington Council's Executive Member for Leisure and Equalities, said: "These books are not just rated by Richard and Judy - countless thousands of people across Britain have also enjoyed them, and now you can take your pick at our libraries.
"In these wintry days why not curl up with one of these books? Best of all, it's free entertainment."
Islington Council's Richard and Judy Book Club promotion runs until the end of March. Pop into any library to find out more.
