Young residents have been brushing up on their creative skills – inspired by one of Islington's largest green spaces. <br><br>More than 70 children submitted photos, drawings, paintings and poems based on Barnard Park, N1. <br><br>Their work has influenced the development of a masterplan to improve the green space, off Copenhagen Street. <br><br>Councillor Ruth Polling, Executive Member for Leisure and Equalities, said: "It's really important to get residents involved in big decisions on how to develop some of our premier parks – and that involves young residents too. <br><br>"I was impressed by the creative ideas this park has inspired.
