If you've visited the Borough Market style shopping experience at Islington's Exmouth Market on Fridays and Saturdays, you'll know what to expect at the British Producers' Food-Lovers Fayre at the Nag's Head in Holloway, N7 from Friday 27 April to Sunday 29 April 2007. <br><br>The new venture brings together the expertise of Louise Brewood - a Farmer's market specialist - Islington Council and the Nag's Head Town Centre Management Group.<br><br>It's a foodie's heaven from 10am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday and 11am to 4pm Sunday with the opportunity to sample Britain's finest food from growers and producers both organic and non-organic.<br><br>Terry Stacy, Deputy Leader and Executive Member for Housing and Communities, Islington Council said: "Being a bit of a food-lover myself, I'm looking forward to testing and tasting the range of goodies that will be on offer that weekend. <br><br>"It's only come about because of local people. When we asked them they told us they wanted to see Farmers-style markets coming to the Nag's Head so here we have it - a market selling fresh produce from British farmers and collectives." <br><br>You're bound to find something interesting to buy for the weekend from award-winning succulent cuts of meat to beautiful British coastal line-caught fish. <br><br>Look out for an unusual stall, the Sporeboys, that sells wild and exotic mushrooms which the stall-holders make into risotto and fantastic hot sandwiches. Or watch up to 20 varieties of sausages being freshly made at British Hog. <br><br>Farmer's market expert Louise Brewood, who's also behind the new venture at Exmouth Market and Hackney's successful Broadway Market, said: "I'm very excited to be part of bringing a new style market to Holloway offering fresh produce as well as stalls with delicious hot food you can enjoy on the spot.<br><br>"We have so much wonderful food in Britain and this gives people a chance to see what delicacies are on their doorstep. Look out for our World Flavours market in June and our Designer Maker Fair in July."<br><br>Visitors the the Food-Lovers Fayre will also be able to pick up some famously good breads from Stone Oven bakers and scrumptious dairy goods and cheeses as well as sweet jams to go on top. <br><br>And Nutmeg Frog will be there with his great goat's cheese scones, very yummy chocolate cakes and hand-made dog biscuits. <br><br>Ian Gault, Chair of the Nag's Head Town Centre Management Group said: "We're delighted to be bringing a whole range of new and exciting events to the Nag's Head following on from the success of the French Market. <br><br>"We want to encourage as many people as possible to come and have a look at what's on offer.
