Islington Faiths Forum (IFF) is hosting its first community festival on Thursday 22 March 2007. <br><br>The free festival will be held at the New Court Christian Centre, N4 from 10am to 3.30pm and provides a great opportunity to celebrate the significant contribution that faith groups and partner organisations play in the lives of people in Islington. <br><br>Cllr Terry Stacy, Executive Member for Housing and Communities, Islington Council said: "Faith groups and their partners are at the heart of many Islington communities and provide a huge amount of practical support.<br><br>"The festival is an opportunity for these groups to promote their services and share information about health, welfare and youth work.<br><br>"When we talk about strengthening Islington's communities, this type of event is precisely what we mean."<br><br>The festival is open to all and features delicious food and live entertainment at the New Court Christian Centre, 1-3 Regina Road, N4. <br><br>IFF is a community partnership of faith-based organisations working together to assist local community development and delivery of individual and community support services. <br><br>For more information, contact Clive Clarke 020 7527 3167.<br><br>ENDS
