1. Happy Birthday! SwapXchange is One year old
Islington's swap site www.islington.gov.uk/swapxchange is one year old.
This website which was the first of its kind in London has helped over 500 people find exactly what they need and has had over 11,400 visitors.
Over 10 tonnes of material has been successfully swapped and given a new home, much of which would have otherwise ended up in a landfill site. That is the equilavent of 500 domestic boilers, 125 Double beds or 10 family cars.
Visit www.swapxchangeislington.gov.uk/swapxchange and make a swap today.
