Bike Week (17 - 25 June 2006) is the ideal time to get your bicycle fit and ready for summer. Cycling is cheap, convenient and the best way to get around the borough in the heat.
Islington Council and the Islington Cycling Action Group are hosting a range of activities to get your bicycle in tiptop condition.
Councillor Lucy Watt, executive member for environment said: "Cycling is great exercise and it's also one of the quickest ways to get around. I hope as many people as possible will get their bikes out and come along to one of our events this bike week, and better still, take up cycling every day."
