Same-day collections for all your recyclables!

Life just keeps on getting easier for Islington residents, with all recycling to be collected on the same day from Monday 17 October. <br><br>This service improvement by the council means that the green box, green waste and kitchen waste collections will all take place on the same day, making recycling easier than ever.<br><br>Councillor Bridget Fox, Executive member for sustainability, said: “We know that residents in our borough want to recycle more. The council is making a significant effort to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill and we are providing more recycling services for residents to use than ever before. This latest initiative will simplify collections and make it easier for residents to know when to recycle.”<br><br>Islington residents can recycle more than they think with a variety of recycling schemes available in the borough.
