Residents who want to acknowledge the work of green fingered neighbours in helping make Islington brighter, greener and cleaner are being reminded to nominate their favourite entries by 31 May.<br><br>Islington in Bloom 2005 has categories from large formal displays to window boxes, from school grounds to business premises. The competition supports a key council objective of environmental sustainability.<br><br>People can nominate their own garden space or somebody else’s, the only requirement is that the blooms must be visible from the street (with the exception of best school grounds and community garden.) <br><br>Islington Gardeners will be judging the entries, which must be in by the 31 May.
