Working Together – Reducing the Effects of Overcrowding

The conference theme for our 27 June 2006 Islington Housing Network was Working Together - Reducing the effects of overcrowding.

The invited speakers were: Chloe Fletcher from the Association of London Government who gave a presentation providing the London perspective on overcrowding. Jonathan O’Sullivan from Islington PCT spoke about reducing the impact of overcrowding on people’s health and Paul Curran from Islington Council talked about tackling the effects of overcrowding on families and children. The speakers were followed by a number of workshops. The workshop participants discussed what could be done to reduce the impact of overcrowding.

The target group was all Islington residents.
