Disabled Access

The Ecology Centre itself is wheelchair accessible, the nature reserve has a mixture of different areas, some of which are more accessible than others due to the nature and management of the site.

Drop off Point
There is a forecourt area at the front of the centre which can be used as a drop off point; it is not marked out as a parking area. Priority is given to people with disabilities and schools.

Level ramped access
From the forecourt there is level access to the Ecology Centre, but access to the reserve is ramped from Drayton Park. We are currently redeveloping the main entrance to make the park and centre more wheelchair accessible.

Reception
There are level entrances into the centre and wide doorframes for wheelchairs and push chairs.

Communications equipment
Unfortunately there is no induction loop at present.

Toilets
There are accessible toilets.
