A marriage or civil partnership ceremony can be anything from a simple
ceremony or signing of the schedule in the presence of your two witnesses, as
required by law, to a lavish celebration with music and readings, in the
presence of all your friends and family. The law requires, however, that any
civil ceremony, including any readings or music, must not contain any
religious references.
Once your ceremony booking has been confirmed, depending on the type of
ceremony you wish to have and the room or venue you choose, you can make an
appointment with the officiating registrar to discuss arrangements for the
day. Please call a few weeks in advance of your ceremony to make an
appointment.
