Fees for Civil Ceremonies from April 2009 to March 2010 (No cheques please)

Room 99 -  Maximum of 30 guests, if there is more that 30 we reserve the right to move you to the Council Chamber and charge for it. This policy is for Health & Safety reasons. Please note that there is no need to meet with the Registrars for the Standard Ceremony in Room 99. Deviations from the Standard Ceremony are Additional Add-on's which can be a reading, a walk in or meeting with the Registrar before the ceremony. Personal Deviations (Additional Add-on's) are at the discretion of the Registrar. Speak to the Registrars regarding Personal Deviations .

Sorry no pets allowed for any Ceremonies in the Town Hall. Except for Guide Dogs.

We have two small rooms and one large room available for hire for after ceremony drinks (duration 1 hour). Drinks not supplied, Saturdays only. The small rooms are charged at £145 and glass hire £35 (max 30 people each). The larger room is charged at £290 and glass hire is £50.00 (max 100 people).

Extra Marriage/Civil Partnership Certificates

A fee of £3.50 is payable to a registrar for any additional marriage certificates requested on the day of the marriage.

Commemorative Certificates

Certificates are available for Civil Partnerships, Renewal of Vows and Naming Ceremonies at a cost of £10 each.
