Flowers are one of the most important elements of your big day. Not only do
they provide colour and scent, but they symbolize life, growth, and rebirth.
Decisions regarding flowers are generally made once wedding or partnership
outfits have been chosen. These can include floral arrangements for the
ceremony and reception, bouquets, headdresses, posies, corsages, buttonholes
and cake flowers
Some of the Approved Venues throughout Islington and the City of London will
include floral arrangements as part of their wedding or ceremony service.
Others may make a charge. Most will allow you to supply your own floral
decorations.
A florist should be given notice of the ceremony approximately four months in
advance so that he/she is free on the day. They will want to discuss precise
details around six weeks before the ceremony. When deciding on a florist, seek
personal recommendations from friends or visit several florists and look at
their displays. Most will allow you to visit at a time when they have prepared
flowers for other ceremonies so that you can see the quality of their work.
There are numerous florists throughout Islington and the City of London. For
