The Great Eastern Hotel opened in 1879 as one of London’s great railway hotels. A millennium facelift restored the Victorian redbrick façade of this English Heritage Grade II listed building. Each room has natural daylight, including the Main Hall, which has stained glass windows depicting coats of arms of previous Lord Chancellors who were members of the inn.
