Islington Council Community Fireworks Grants 2008
Local voluntary, community and faith organisations planning a community fireworks display in Islington this year are invited to apply to Islington Council for a grant to help fund their event.
Grants of up to £1,000 are available although most awards are expected to be around £500.
The deadline for completed applications is Monday 29 September 2008

Teenager Murdered in Islington - Appeal for Information
16-year-old Islington resident, Ben Kinsella, was tragically murdered on Sunday 29 June near the North Road/York Way junction in N7.
The police are appealing for members of the public who may have been in the area, witnessed this incident or have any information to get in touch.
