A1 Audio Tour

The A1 Audio Tour is a free guided walk of Islington’s A1 road - from Archway to Goswell Road.

The tour highlights historical buildings, interesting facts, and stories from local residents.

The A1 Audio Tour is part of the creative element of Islington Council’s A1 Borough project. This creative strategy uses arts and culture to involve the community, and improve the visual appearance and use of public spaces along the A1.

The tour is divided into four routes. The tour can be downloaded below, or is available in CD from your local Islington library. For details, click on the Local Libraries link under Related Information.
