We are passionate about our customers. They can log service requests online from our website, phone with queries or come to our offices to discuss issues. Contact Islington deals with all of this customer contact for the council, usually resolving the matter or passing on reports to our 24 hour service teams. Contact Islington deal with hundreds of customers each week and have a big impact on how we listen to customers and what customers think of us.

To join the Contact Islington team on Upper Street or in Manchester you will need:

  • excellent communication skills
  • a focus on detail and maintaining accurate records in the customer database
  • and, above all, you will be driven by satisfying customers – ensuring they get the service they need when they need it.

Many of our customers cannot contact us during normal office hours, so we work on shifts covering early mornings, evenings and weekends .
