National Enterprise Week

Crimes and Scams Against Your Business

Partnership members will be aware that the coordinator warns you of scams and frauds targeting Islington businesses, by sending out email alerts.  The number of such scams coming to light via Trading Standards investigations seems to be growing.

Due to the popularity of this initiative, we are considering expanding it so that businesses that have fallen victim to crime or have become aware of a local scam can warn other businesses via the coordinator. This could be via a separate web page allocated solely to this purpose.

As well as warning of national scams, the feedback could also cover local crimes. Sharing intelligence not only helps to warn others but could even help the authorities catch those responsible.  What do you think? Let the co-ordinator know your views and suggestions:
